I went halfway. Still figuring out what I'm going to do with the grille, just couldn't look at the chrome anymore

That already looks so much better. I'm not in love with the chrome. If you haven't said it somewhere else already, did you just plasti-dip or what? Im concerned with how to do it because I don't want it to chip off easily from rocks on the highway.

plsatidip is very durable. i've done a ton of things with it and ran it through high pressure washes without a single problem.

Yeah I just used plasti-dip. It is definitely durable and I think I did about 6 coats so it should hold up. I'm planning on replacing the grill eventually as soon as something I like becomes available. I did like the black chrome, so I didn't want to go all black as I wanted a little contrast and depth.

Perfect. I guess I don't dislike the chrome outer so much as I can't stand how it makes the entire grill look chrome. Everyone thinks the whole thing is chrome.

that's actually my biggest thing about going with an aftermarket grille. there's no depth to it all all. the flatness of it just makes it look even larger.

Not really sure yet. I'm really on the fence about what to do. I've seen an all black one in person and I liked it, but kind of feel like it looks like a large black hole on the front of the truck. I'm talking with a fabricator friend about building something custom. I'm not really digging the aftermarket options that are currently available.

Why on earth would I take a risk when there are plenty of people on here with all that single-man money? What kind of message would that send? Do we all of a sudden want single people with money and time to STOP taking the hits for us??? CMON MAN

That might look really good if you did the cross bars of the grill in black as well.

Cab mount chop. It's cutting away a small portion of the inner fender well that protrudes out to prevent rubbing with larger tires.

What they said. I was rubbing due to larger tires and a more aggressive offset on wheels.
