    I'll plan on bringing some firewood and see about grabbing more along the way if needed. In terms of cleaning before moving on, I think that should be a group responsibility - leave no trace.

    Food wise, I'm livin' pretty tight right now, so I'll likely provide for myself. Might bring some community snacks, but not full meals.

    Based on the feed from the site with the link above, looks like sections with snow (not sure if it'll all be gone in 30 days) and downed trees - chainsaw and shovel time.

    Not sure if the BDR goes through this closure just yet but kittikas county has a manhunt for a murder suspect since mid May and has expanded the manhunt area as of yesterday. I’m keeping an eye on the manhunt so hopefully they get the guy before our trip and we will have no closure issues

    I thought the suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle.

    Guy ditched the car in the woods at his camp site where they found a 2nd stolen vehicle and stolen property. they have had a manhunt ever since, a arrest warrant for murder was signed a few days later after initial fleeing from PD

    Looks like some minor inconveniences on section 4

    Wouldn’t be an adventure without some obstacles.

    Didn’t realize there was a FB group for the route.

    @PacNW_Taco

    What are your thoughts on getting a couple confirmed people together to maybe come up with a more precise calendar of events? We could try to strategize meeting points in the towns/cities we pass through and time estimates that we will be there for those joining mid way through.

    It might also be a good idea to update the initial post with a list of people that are planning on joining.

    This is an excellent idea as I have no idea what I’m doing logistically.

    Would you be willing to be one of those able to look into some locations/timing?

    I can get the OP update with some more sections with room for those items later today. Also, I’ll review the thread for confirmations.

    Hey folks - looking for some confirmations on who plans on joining and for what days. With this we can get a more accurate picture of things.

    If I’ve missed you, let me know and I’ll update the OP.

    Hah, didn't even realize y'all are running it from section 5 to 1. Not the other way around.
    Either way section 3 is the one i'd like to run.

    @PacNW_Taco

    I didn't feel like actually working today so I made an itinerary of sorts. Feel free to make changes or just say no. This is a shortened version but without knowing points of interest to see along the way (see july 8) I'm not really sure how to stretch this out longer.

    July 3 - Meet in Okanogan at noon, camp around Cooper Mountain (48.011130, -120.083688)
    July 4 - hit the trail at 10am to be in Chelan at 11am for gas (and lunch?). Leave Chelan at 1pm, camp around French Corral (47.705545, -120.513343)
    July 5 - hit the trail at 10am to be in Cashmere around 1130am for gas (and lunch?). Leave Cashmere at 130pm, camp around Lion Rock (47.251884, -120.588883)
    July 6 - hit the trail at 10am to be in Ellensburg around 11am for gas (and lunch?). Leave Ellensburg at 1pm, camp around Bethell Ridge (46.717604, -121.113322)
    July 7 - hit the trail at 10am to be in Packwood around 1115am for gas (and lunch?). Leave Packwood at 115pm, camp around Horseshoe Lake Campground (46.309903, -121.566621)
    July 8 - hit the trail at 10am, camp around Guler Ice Caves (45.961337, -121.632508)
    July 9 - hit the trail at 10am to head home

    You sir, are a superstar. This looks great! Let's say meet at Hank's Harvest Foods in Twisp at noon?

    I can start taking a look at additional itinerary this weekend. Seriously appreciate your efforts on this!
