You know you want to bring that flag down to southern Oregon for safe keeping.

    she got big shoes bro
A friend of a friend of a friend told me his brother knows a guy who was a private investigator after he got out of Vietnam, and after 5-6 phone calls I got him. He said he doesn't PI anymore since that one job ended up smoking crack to keep his cover. Long story short he asked where he might find the flag, I said Sandy; he replied 'nah fuck that my crazy ex lives there...'

So my prediction is that someone will end up nabbing it from @Toywoodsguy82 and like 3 days later he's gonna snatch that bitch right back

Still gonna be cool to see where this thing makes it

Just to keep everyone up to date…

On the way to work today the original flag pole bent and broke… I currently have a coworker replacing it with some steel flat stock. It will be heavier but we didn’t have anything else that I felt could handle 55-80mph on the hwy in stock.

I will update everyone with a new picture as soon as I get back to the shop.

and yes I contacted @Bertw192 first to make sure it was all good.

Ok ladies and gents... We've run into a bit of a snag, pun intended. Due to my piss poor construction skills, our flag has not exactly handled the rigors of traveling at 60 mph from Seatown to P-town. Not only did our pole bend and break, but the flag also took a beating and isn't long for this world. That being the case, we're implementing some temporary rules.

    upload_2021-5-13_14-38-3.jpg

The flag will not be displayed while traveling, instead, it will only be erected (hehehe) while parked. Additionally, I'm working on a new "rigid" flag, that will hopefully withstand our abuse a little better. Once the new flag is ready to be put into play, I'll contact the current flag holder for their address and ship it to them, post haste.

Thanks for your understanding. The game WILL go on!

That's gonna make the game so much harder if you can't potentially follow someone through town waiting for them to make a stop. Challenge accepted.

As I said, it's just temporary. I'm quickly working on a long term solution.

Sidenote I did go to a professional flag maker and he said regardless of what type of nylon we used is not made to go 60+ miles an hour down the highway for long periods of time. Being that I go 34 miles one way to work every day at highway speed‘s that prompted the change because the flag maker could not guarantee that it would last the weekend based on the way to grommets already pulled out

Not quite that, but I've already purchased some 8020 aluminum extrusions and fasteners, a sheet of 1/4" red acrylic, and some more magnets... this thing is going to be built like a brick shithouse...:playball: :poking:

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first indestructible flag. This flag will be that flag. Better than it was before. Better...stronger...faster.
