I mentioned it as kinda a joke to my wife. She loved it, and it stuck! Definitely unique though.

Yeah. I can't do any influencer stuff at all. I'd rather make a bad purchase than suffer through.

I think his only fault is not telling his viewers to moderate their expectations. Kind of like when I was doing a radiator flush on my Jeep XJ, and the water never came out clear... I finally settled on Lipton iced tea, when it started at MJD black coffee.

I think I heard of him.

If it looks legit when I google in a jam, then I watch it. Any goofy faces or stupid graphics or quotes on the thumbnail gets a solid pass from me.

That's the best part of Chris Fix. No stupid intro or bull shit... "Chris Fix here" and then immediately into content.

Of course he's deviated from that formula a bit as the money had come in...

Interesting. I may check him out.

Kinda thumbing through DUST at the moment after being let down by Season 2 of Love, Death, and Robots.

I miss the simplicity of that thing.

I did so much of my wrenching learning on that thing... brake flushes, shocks, flushed all fluids, radiator replacement, etc...

The only problem I had was that I learned it was either a car payment or a repair payment. When it left me stranded on a backpacking trip, that was the last straw.
