I can get both lights off in about 30 min.
And I'm just painting them. The BLHM I don't want to do a retrofit kit

It's a pain at first Bc there's this unnecessary third screw that's hard to reach at the bottom of the headlight, but once you take them off you don't need to put it back in just the two at the top and the headlight will hold just fine. But it still shouldn't take long.

Sunday's beach run looked like fun! Any more pictures? Wish I could have gone, but my cousin visiting from out of town helped me completely rebuild my deck... something I have been putting off all year. Glad it's finally done.
I'm anti-Facebook, so hopefully ya'll still post future meet-up info here. Won't blame you if you don't though. (I'll be in D.C. for work on the 18th, so can't make that one.)
    Cheers fellas!

oh shit, paint only? you doing the high heat enamel? to speed up process between coats you can use a blow dryer or put them back in the oven at "warming". that's easy peasy!

Oh snap, I didn't know he started another one! The first one was closed right before I was about to buy a bed mat.

I'll make sure to copy the info on here too for everyone. But just having the event through fb is easy because everyone can just click going or not so we aren't left wondering

Nope. No retrofit. I don't want it bouncing around and getting damaged while I'm off-roading.

So it's gonna cost me $280 for the part from Toyota.
I broke the clip around the trailer towing harness. The harness is fine. But because the clips that broke are built into the housing of the harness I have to replace the whole harness....

After 30 min of thought. That's more than half of my sliders.... I'm just gonna zip tie the harness out of the way and forget its back there :)

If I remember correctly harness is sorta Cone Shaped right? you could get a plate with a round hole, and use some sort of hose or other clamp like this http://www.climaxmetal.com/prod_thr.htm to secure the harness from the other side of the plate... or zip ties... lol...
