Late bow for both deer and elk (select units open of course). I got my multi season for deer, I'll be doing that every year, it's super convenient. And apply every year for multi season elk. Blacktail are a special kind of elusive. I think I'll just go east next year for mule deer.

well black tail bucks are chasing doe's all over my neighborhood. There was a nice buck in my backyard this morning that I would of taken if I could. He chased her into my yard. Stopped and looked around and hauled ass after her into the woods.

I shot a little spike the other day, enough meat to eat for awhile, and take the stress of not getting anything. Last chance for elk this weekend. Expectations are low, hopes are...dwindling quickly

The woods were crawling with deer finally. If you haven’t tagged out yet, get out there, they are up and moving in this storm.

how big of a pistol? I haven't carried one on my chest before.

I have this Nycto that I got in an Apocobox. Used it hunting and kept my bino's in the big pouch. Tall pouches work well for my radio, small pouches good for my InReach. A pistol could go in the big pouch or attached to the molle.
They only make this in coyote brown. I'm going to rit dye it and try to get a ranger green.
