Come on up. Are you an archery hunter? Remember that wheeling area they shut down off 530 that I was pissed off about getting closed. I killed it there.

If you would be willing to travel up to Lyman and Birdsview I could hook you up with both.

Double D Meats is considered one of the best butcher shops around. Not sure if they do processing though

I got that again, and a second deer tag for Whidbey. I drew that one last year on the assumption I had access to private land, when that fell through I ended up learning all the public land. Now it's a challenege. I'm not going to use my OTC deer tag on blacktail again, but I'll happily use a draw tag

I've gotten multi deer 2 years in a row. But I'm lucky like that. Multi elk would be great. Those seasons are so damn short

Any suggestions for areas to hunt coyotes in Eastern Washington? I'm looking for huge... tracts of land.

anyone up for some high buck hunting this year? season will be here before you know it and I want to game plan now. I'm not doing crazy 20 mile backpacking hikes though, I'll use my truck to get up pretty high and secluded, use it as base camp.

Maybe. A couple of us tried one year in Alpine Lakes Wilderness area. Not a damn thing up there. I've heard of some successful hunts in other area's. Glacier Peak I read about a guy that got a good one in 2018. 8 mile pack out.

That’s not that bad. Deer have like 5 shoe boxes of meat in them. Take an hour to bone it out and you’re good. I guess I’m also a backpacker though.

Very pretty area, wayyyy too many people for me. I’ve already gone through a gauntlet of Seattle snow flakes telling me it was illegal to hunt where I was, shouldn’t be killing animals blah blah. Laughed that off, but still way too many people that don’t have any orange for my liking.

I pulled a multi season deer, but due to the rona I couldn't buy it before deployment, and now ALSO because of the rona I'll be extended here until after the deadline. No response to e-mails, and every time I call it say the number isn't in service. Looks like I'm eating it this year.

Might have to talk to you about some of the public land on Whidbey. I only ever saw tracks last year.

This is why you don't start at the end of a thread and work your way to the beginning... I'll have to watch for this when they go on sale.
