just got an email and was not selected for multi season deer. do you know when we can try to buy the leftovers? I called WDFW and she thought it would be in August. She also said it might depend on if they do a second drawing.

There's always plenty left, usually a couple hundred left unsold. I always luck out and get it, not this year, I'm in the same boat, totally worth it tho

Got my first bear yesterday, looking forward to some bear chili and pulled bear meat. Was solo hunting so no poses beside the bear for me...lol

Is the B.C Spring bear a draw or an over the counter?

Over the counter. You are allowed 2 black bear tags a year, your choice whether you cut them in spring or fall...

Nice work. A lot of people don't get it, but "clean" bear is some of the best eating out there!

Be really unfortunate if you "accidentally" hit one with your truck

I put the Tacoma to work last weekend. I had 4 different elk on the flatbed between Friday and Sunday, 2 at once on Friday. Resized_20211017_095345.jpg Resized_20211015_181725.jpg

Nice work. We still hunted right up to a doe this weekend but no bucks in sight. It was a cool thing to see though; I was about 10 yards from her in the salal and she just went about her business eating and walking. I am positive she saw me but maybe she didn’t put it together that I was a human?

Do any of you call for blacktails? If so what’s working for you?

Years past I have. I would rather rattle horns than call tho.

I have plenty of deer that hang out in my yard, I've tried every calling technique to see if they even react. Blacktail just don't care. Antler rattling does get their attention though

Happy to have meat in the freezer but there was a 5x4 wandering around the area that I couldn’t get a shot at.
