Hey Tacomaworld. I just bought my first “taco”. It’s a 2020 TRD Off Road. I’m pretty stoked as it’s my first TRUCK since I was a kid. Can’t wait to see where the adventure takes me!

Thank you! I’m really enjoying it. I almost decided to go for an F150 but I’m so glad I chose this. The extra room would have been nice but to get all the cool features and tech you’d have to spend waaaay more with a full-size truck!

Welcome sgav8r. I have a 2020 DCSB TRD OR in MGM coming my way as well, hopefully by the end of the month. I'm also in the PNW.

Early congrats to you on the purchase!

I love it more every time I drive it. I’m almost kicking myself for going with MGM over “Quicksand” but my wife hates that color so I guess I made the right call.

    Still... the quicksand... (drool)!

I am traditionally a blue guy. If it comes in blue, I get it. However, I just can't embrace the Voodoo Blue. It's just too bright for me. My wife calls it a "young guy's color", and then reminds me I'm not young anymore. Joke's on her because she's older than me. Gunmetal gray is my go-to after blue, so the choice was obvious. I considered Cement, since it is not so common, but I can't stand silver, and sometimes I look at it and see silver.

Did you get an auto or manual?

Auto... This is ALSO because of my wife. She flat-out refuses to learn to drive a manual. If it were up to me every vehicle I own would be manual. So there’s another way that my wife is actively crushing my dreams (not really, she’s great)!

Ha! I go through the same headaches. My wife refuses also. I let her have her automatics, but I have always bought manuals for myself. My last vehicle, I gave in. It was a Titan, and she never drove it. So I saw no reason not to go back to a manual for this truck, despite her protests.
