    Hello everyone,

I have an error code reading: Camshaft Position A Circuit 2 High Bank 2 on my 2016 Taco.
Does anyone know what part number this is?
I believe there are 2 sensors related to this circuit.
I think the choice is between : 90919-05061 and 90919-05073 but I want to be sure

I'm comfortable replacing the part(s) myself just want to have the correct part on hand before remove the old ones. I already checked the wiring and it all looks good, I understand rodents can be an issue chewing up some of these harnesses but mine are all intact

    Any help is much appreciated!

I dont have a PN, but I would do a thorough check on the wiring for damage/rodents before I ordered a part. Any work done on it recently?

The first thing I did was check for loose harnesses or chewed wires. From my reading rodents are notorious for getting at these. In my case, the wires are all intact. I park inside as well (not sure if that prevents rodents or not). The truck has 140k so could be sensor(s) is actually bad?

I would also reseat the connector if you haven't done that already. If you have the ability, you can back probe the sensor connector and see what signal voltage is there. The 'high' alarm indicates the ECU is seeing a high voltage (+4.7V). You could check the other sensor for what is 'normal' - they both should be similar. If you don't see any voltage (or very low voltage), then it is likely a wiring issue. If the voltage is indeed high at the connector, it is probably the sensor failing.
