So, nothing out of the ordinary with the connectors. They were locked, pins clean and secure, seals intact. Thought the upstream AF sensor wasn't locked, but it was. Went ocd and checked others too. Lol
Meter is at work so can't check continuity.
And, I can't find the port to purge the fuel rail, connect a tester... Did they bury it under all that plastic plenum, air filter box?

Here is a question that maybe has been asked but maybe I missed, what kind of aftermarket cats are those?

USUALLY aftermarket cats are so small, that the amount of material in their oxidation beds available are not enough to keep up with the amount of emissions put out by the engine. This is also why I have never liked installing aftermarket cats in vehicles when it comes to making sure that they have the longevity there to last the engine another 150K.

Now. Why cats fail other than excess mileage put into them is usually due to a poor AFR and that usually fals directly into either poor performing oxygen sensors or an engine misfire due to either worn out secondary emissions or poor engine maintenance. Assuming you kept up with proper maintenance and your engine is in good working condition I would almost always recommend a cat converter AS WELL AS both upstream and downstream oxygen sensors. Afr sensors are known to have degraded performance under mileage in excess of 80K. We are equipped with them, so. Take this advice for what it is worth.
