I think Peerunner means the hole/cutout on the key itself was too small for the bolt to fit through, so they left out that key, making it a 5 key holder.. with 4 keys in it.. so it had play in the material since all of the space wasnt taken up.

    This.

Maybe I'm not coming through clearly. I'm not saying anything about the item you're selling, I'm just saying my dad used a 5 key model to hold 4 keys and it broke. I tested the corpse and found the material in that area has no flex to it before it snaps.

I love my pocket key, this broken one wasn't mine, and wasn't used by me. Let it be known that you can't use less keys than your model is sized for or you'll more than likely break the material.

Not sure why anybody thinks I'm hating on anything/anybody. I said how the key got broke, I haven't asked for replacement or refund, and I haven't slammed OP. All I've said (or at least intended to say) was the material was brittle and I can't trust 100% any material that is so rigid when it's exposed to stress of pocket carry and torque applied (if any) when opening locks). If it didn't come across that way, it's my bad.

ok.. well i can send you a replacment.. but yes you are right.. the very reason why I made so many different variations is because you cant really flex the material so much.. it flexes a little but not a lot.

No replacement needed, but thanks for the offer amigo.

He's decided if he gets a key keeper it'll be metal, and I don't have any more keys if I kept it for myself.
