Hey guys I have been looking around for a little bit, but I cant seem to find the answer i'm looking for.

I purchased a C4fab low pro winch bumper on Black Friday and It just now about to arrive. I have seen powder coated bumpers as well as Line-x'ed ones. Is there any
benefit to coating bumpers in bed liner or should I just go the typical powder coat route?

I figure i'm going to have to deal with excess material at the mounting locations with either coating so i wasn't sure if anyone has dealt with both types and had some constructive criticism.

Also if bed liner is a viable solution, is there anyone in the Dallas area that has history with the Raptor Liner product?

    Any info would be great.

You can buy the spray on bedliner for cheap and touch it up when it needs it

Or just get it powder coated if a $150-$250 job is worth it

    None as of yet
powder coat when done properly is tough. My jeep's bumper held up to drings slapping, being buried on departures multiple times and zero rock chips from mall crawling and looked as good as new the day I sold it. If you plan on bashing it into rocks just rattle can it. Nothing will hold up to that abuse, bedliner will even flake if hit hard enough.

I think Krylon, or Dupli color make a spray on bed liner - That several guys have used, that comes out really good it’s a fine texture and can be touched up out of a spray can. There is also raptor liner that supposed to be very good but Hass to be shut out of a gun from what I understand
