have you asked for flush mount hitch?

I asked him to do mine flush mount as I thought it would stick out 2 inches like his bumper. Guess he decided to do all of them flush so we can put the plate on top.

I'm getting the same thing, + lights option

The picture you see in his thread is actually my bumper. I requested my hitch that way. I wanted it to sit flush with the bumper, I think it looks better that way.

Wow, your truck is getting built very fast. Awesome job and I can't wait to see the end result. Point of no return? Pffttt. You can always fab on those extra long Front Flaps to the Rear to fill in the space. You're "MINT" after that! If not, that rear bumper is mad "PRO".:D

I just realized you're all armored out and I can't wait to see the end result Danny. Love your rims more.;)

thanks guys for all the props!! i can attest that it is one STOUT sucker thats for sure! can't wait to see it all installed!!

beachboy... yea he specified his hitch to be flush mount like yours.. i agree that it gives a clean look thats for sure.. only draw back is that the pin has to go in behind the bumper.

and yes the notches in the bottom of the bumper are for using a hi lift jack. it provides a safe place to jack from that will prevent the jack from slipping off to the side. also without these using the jack in an off camber situation would be almost impossible as the jack would have no where to grab on to.

marking off the bed for the cut is pretty simple.. due to the fact that its a straight line back from the bottom of the tail light. then theres some trimming to be done below the taillight area also.

Reason i'm asking is i cut silversevens to measurments given and it was a tad high. I figured it was the line coming offf the black piece under the tailgate. i should have went with my gut. I just wanted to know if you had the same measurements as jordan got.

my setup basically runs a straight line off the bottom of the tail light which makes it alot easier to cut being as though you have a good reference point.
