Be careful not to bend your tailgate.

As I recall, someone had built structure above the wheel wells to get theirs in. But, I’d still be worried about hitting the rear window or something. Fing scary. That’s why I always trailered my ATV’s.

You think it's hard with an ATV try a snowmobile. I'm nervous every time I do it. And that was with a 6.5 foot bed in my F150. Haven't tried in my short bed Taco yet.

I don't think it'd fit the wheel base is 50 so it's probably 60 inches for the whole wheel in there. but that doesn't include the brush guard. I'd get a trailer if i were you

I have hauled a 2004 honda 350 rancher about 6 times. Barely squeezes between wheel wells. I back up. Front wheels on tail gate. Seemed to go well. I think its around 500lbs. With another 200 lbs of hunting stuff the bed is about 1/4” from the axle bump stops. Some use sumo bump stop things for this purpose so yer not bottoming out on bumps.

For peace of mind borrow a TSC trailer they charge 14.99 for 4 hours.

That’s cheaper than potential wear and tear with a broken tailgate.

I don’t think they’re rated over 300 pounds although users swear they will hold more. I’ve never tried on my 2nd gen but I have an enclosed for my bikes.

I have a 2018 Polaris 570 and it doesn’t clear the wheel wells.

I've got a Honda Rubicon and have hauled it several times. I think it weighs about 675, and the tailgate has held up fine. You have to remember that all the weight is never on the tailgate all at once during the transition into the bed with ramps. If it fits between the wheel wells you should be good to go. Mine is tight, but the tires have 4psi so they squeeze right in there barely. I THINK the tailgate weight limit is between 500-600lbs.

I tow mine in a trailer as there's no way mine will fit between the wheel wells!027.jpg

I've got a 500 Ranger, and there is no way it fits in a Taco.

    A few.
I wouldnt hall anything bigger than a sport quad in the bed. Can pick up a nice 5x8 trailer at tractor supply for around $600
