Yeah, as stated above, it was a Ford Probe. The power pole that you see in the shot was the third one he hit, right through the first two. The driver was DOA and the passenger was pinned, but lived. They found out that Probes don't really handle that good, he was doing over 90 MPH.

damn! I never saw a car make it passed the first. My step mom had an older probe and it handled like crap at 40 mph. lol

    I'll play....
A lot of times, ER nurses and Physicians will ask if we have photos of the accident, to help determine what sort of mechanism of injury they're dealing with when we arrive with the patient. I try to take photos of every high mechanism MVA I go to, unless the patient is critical.

    MVA's!
    3 MVA's within 200m.

The F.D. I volunteered with just got this run today. It was nasty. I drove by it. Still trying to figure out how the lady managed to go the wrong way on the highway. Both drivers were killed.
Pulled all these from the news sites.

That WAS a Ford Focus on the right. Wheels were pushed up inside the passenger compartment.
Heres a better view... can't believe the police let this photographer get this.

probably the nastiest accident we have had here in a while
figured, the girl in the focus was probably doing 65-70 and so was the lady in the van... collision was 120+ mph.... damn!

Sounds good to me! That's a good idea, I really don't want to see the critical stuff. Out of respect to the person or people.

This kinda reminds me of the cat that was climbing up on the officer in that video on youtube, very funny. While he was making a traffic stop.

    Why is that?
Do more of the car theft division cars (or whatever it's called in the LAPD) use it? Vs regular patrol cars.

This is the best driving around. They teach you how to push the car to the limit. We have lost most of our cadets due to the driving, they really make sure you can drive the car right

This was taken pretty much right behind my house, the dad took his wife, and daughter down a class 4 rapid on a $.99 raft with no life vest. Daughter didnt make it

I believe this was the first Charger that was wrecked, if I remember correctly might have had only 1000 miles.

Note to self.....do not stare at him. lol

Yes, he is that scary. You learn to not look at any of them, especially him Sergeant

This is from the county I live in, It was a poster that was redone. It read "You provide the drink, we'll provide the chase"

^^^ MSST or Taclet? If so which one? I'm stationed with 2 guys from Taclet south, one guy was at MSST Miami and one more guy from MSST Miami. When I was stationed in WA we did transports for the VBST in Seattle.
