Here is some more that went head to head after both a foot chase and a car chase with a robber in a stolen vehicle. At the end of it all four hurting offenders (they shouldn't have ran:D), two cops with bruises, and one cop with a busted hand (from offenders face).

the majority of my pics are on my phone, but Here's a couple from work. some of these the ones that made the news...cause of course we dont stop for Pics when theres work to do.

This one was before my time, but a cool scene shot nonetheless.

Triple ejection fatal that I went on. that used to be a ford escort (pretty sure it was) on the left. they were coming SB, rolled into the median and into oncoming NB traffic
This was a rare happy ending for the (innocent) pts in the head on.... for once only the three in the drunks car passed away, and the girl we transported in the NB car literally had only scratches.
seems like it is almost always the drunk that walks away....:rant:

We have had a rash of wrong way drivers on the interstate in the last several years. Its fucking sad. had a whole family of 6 get wiped out a while back. We have a serious drinking and driving problem in NM, so be wary if you come visit. People drive like ass even when they're sober, much less how shitfaced they get and still drive.
this was a 100mph+ wrong way nissan vs sprinter 'vanbulance' from a private transport service. The 19 y/o EMT lived, but had bilateral femur Fractures, as well as to her arms and facial bones. her airbag did not deploy. because its a shady f'n service, that didnt replace the airbag most likely after another previous wreck. lucky, lucky girl.
I wasnt on this one but saved the pics since she was a Volunteer, and I used to work for this company. I have prolly driven that sprinter many a mile actually.

    heres the story:

thats straight up spooky to see an ambulance looking like that. when we work we're rarely belted in like we should be back there.'til the pt care slows down.

this one is from the paper. yours truly, amazingly showing not too much of my good side (lol) on a car vs amtrak at 40mph. that dude was a lucky SOB. just got clipped, not fully Tboned. rolled and entrapped w/ a Femur Fx.
and I have no idea how a the photogs got there so quick. must have been bored listening to the scanner.
    ...and yes...thats ice cream. :/

The Diesel pit at NM State Fire academy
    [IMG]

and finally on a lighter note (WELL over 400 lbs but still... a lighter note).... dont know why it was allowed to happen or who made the decision to purchase that (former) volunteer a set of bunker gear... he wasnt allowed anywhere closer then the pump.
    But a good WTF....
And why Ramon is smiling and Robert looks vaguely preturbed, hopefully we'll never know.....

Abraham those are some sick shots. The veh vs sprinter both the wife and I know the EMT that was on it. Great person but sucky/shity/fucked up company. My wife worked for them as well. Coll pics. Be safe buddy.

Thanks mang. Cant take credit for the news photos, I just collected them but still some pretty ugly calls. I might have to start a scrapbook. Its a bit late (like 8 years late) but better then not at all. although theres always some that just need to be forgotten.
we dont even need to start about schlocky mtn EMS.... Lets just say that I am still worried for V that there was no vehicle insurance, no workmans comp insurance, obviously no airbags.....He will lose his ASS for this on tho i am sure.
Hey you stay safe as well...I worry more about you ABQ boys. Theres only little spells of retardedness up here, you're dealing with it on a whole nother level nightly....:quickdraw: :cookiemonster::bananadance: :bananadead::quickdraw: I was gonna ask about how much stupid shit youve seen regarding the driving here in NM, but I figured you'd chime in if you wanted...

Cheers to all of our military and public safety Brethren... Stay safe to come home from work. your family needs you just like the job needs you!!!!:proposetoast:

Ya drivers here do really suck but they really do get better with booze..........not really. But maybe that is why so many people drink here......they just wanna be beter drivers. We see our share of really bad accidents relating to drinking. But that is also why we have one of the busiest and well funded DWI units in the state and maybe in the country. (I said maybe for all of you who are gona complain.) But I can usually pull at least one DWI driver a night on top of the other 10-15+ calls I take per night.

And yeah schlocky mtn EMS... [IMG] are gonna totally lose their asses. They were already in a huge financial hole and now this....... I remember when Ashley started and told me of all the things that they have to do to even keep their rigs running......:eek::eek::eek:

Those vanbulance pics are freaky.... I hope they got it up the ass in court after that....

Those bunker pants are crazy! I have never seen a pair that big... (thats what she said)... I can't believe the FD hired him!

We have had our fair share of head on collisions on the highway. If you look a few pages back, the most recent one I posted, the girl got on the wrong entrance ramp and drove almost a full mile before she collided with a minivan and 2 moms and 2 daughters inside. killed both drivers. Then we have those damn drunks. One night had I not had a light pole between me and the drunk driver, I would be in a coffin. His car ended up on top of the light pole's concrete column, he was partially ejected... it was wonderful.... split his scalp open from his left eye brow to the back of his right ear. then the idiot wanted to fight with me and the responding EMS guys. lol I hate drunk drivers.

Yeah, theres definitely a nationwide bingedrinking/driving /stupidity problem. Its a shame.

I am glad I survived my 20's.. thats all I will say about that...

Umm so those bunkers were issued to a volunteer. guess they took him on because the VFDs always want more help. BUT even as a volly there is standards, so he wasnt allowed closer then the pump panel on the fireground, and even that was questionable. nothing against the dude for being morbidly obese, but he was always spouting all this fantastical fabricated stuff about swat team medic this, and navy seal that, and then it turned out he let his EMT B lapse, and was trying to run calls w/o a license. So that was the end of that illustrious career. and now we're stuck with those bunkers which could make a fire shelter for a small village in SE asia.... or something. (...that VFD chief that allowed that purchase was questionable too, and is no longer around either.)
Oh well, I bet literally 90% of this country depends on volunteer FDs (rural areas of course) so Its always a mixed bag. Shit -paid departments are a mixed bag! But thats how I got my foot in the door, so i will always have some appreciation for them... :D

Here are a couple from the other night. It was a car that used to be registered as a government vehicle in a city south of here but was just sold to a private person. Needless to say we didn't find the driver but we found the vehicle title and insurance that had the drivers name on it.

    On to the pics.
