not yet :) there are just some out there that don't follow all the rules. Some that believe rules get in the way of enforcing justice. Unfortunately this is a prime example of why rules must be followed to protect the (potential) innocent.

Yes, she is a 7 yr old, 128 lb full blood Akita. Smartest dog I have ever seen in my life. It's sad to think she is already getting old because I know it will be hard to find a dog like her again. My whole neighborhood loves her and always says that they will gladly watch her if we went on vacation.

Awesome CB setup, TRD leaf springs, matching camper shell...more to come some day.
Dude, If I was the mayor, I would be doing just about anything I could do get the chief of police fired. Having Swat bust into a house without a search warrant and then killing their dogs is just messed up.

If youre busting into someones house, what do you think the dogs are gonna do as you tackle the person and try to cuff them? duh....and without the warrant....at that point he could have leagally shot them.

If you kill a police k9, you're a cop killer! I don't care for double standards.

The police chief of the town of Berwyn Heights where this crap took place was not informed by the other police that they were conducting a raid on the mayor's house.

There was a search warrant issued, but is was not a no knock warrant. They, the swat team conducting the raid, said that because they heard the mayor's mother in law scream, they felt "threatened."

They shot one dog at the front door, the other had turned and was RUNNING AWAY when they shot it. The mayor was handcuffed in his scivvies in his bedroom and he and the mother in law had to sit there for several hours while they were interreogated.

This is typical in a county where the county police force continuously does stupid bullsh*t. They can't control crime, people get scared and worried and they move, and trash from DC take their place.

I am so glad I got the f**k out when I did.

I have never met a Labrador Retriever that attacked anybody. Sh*t, they'd let the robbers take anything they want and help them do it!

We had another slang term for PG county when I was growing up, but I don't want to offend anybody by repeating it.

Man, thats messed up. Narcotic guys are an excitable bunch.

Barring an illegal search and seizure (which it isn't) no one is getting fired. It's property damage. Same as kicking in a door and realizing it's the wrong door. Yeah yeah I know....'the dogs were our children', whatever. I like dogs too. At the end of the day they are tangible property. Some folks may get desk duty for awhile or something.
