I didn't necessarily say they should be driving, just sit behind the wheel, kinda like I did in early teens

is this 4wd? i just cannot tell once Toyota started making the PRErunner i can only tell from looking at the back (or underneath)

 

I'm guessing 4wd seeing as how the front tires are also dug into the ground

it always confused me too when I was looking at the new crop while waiting for mine to get serviced

Mine was a 59 f100. A year younger then me. Pulled the old 292 v8 and swapped in a 460/c6 combo. Helluva high school ride !

I'm 42 and on my 3rd 1st gen. I got my 1st one in my early twenties only had it for a couple years before I rolled it. Didn't get my second one till 2013 it was a sas truck that worked but wasn't done up to my standards "needed to redo the front suspension to get a driveshaft that would be useable at highway speed", and I had other things I wanted to spend my money on at the time so I sold it after having it for about a year. I bought my 3rd one a little over a year ago planning on keeping it a lot longer than my previous ones. I've had had several of the 85-87 Toyota's over the years. The last one I sold after getting the Tacoma, I had it for 10 years.
