For sure. Not many great options. The Maverick or F150 Lightening are about the only other ones I remotely like. The Mav is weird but I like it for some reason, with better wheels and tires of course. I'd bet $500 they don't vibrate either. They actually have room for people over 6' tall in the rear seats, unlike the Tacoma. Not a "real truck" my friends would say and I'd have to endure their heckling! There's rumors of an EV version as well as an ST version with the 2.4L turbo which would be a rocket.

Carvana offered me $37k about a month ago, which was exactly what I paid for my 2022 incl tax, reg and all. Almost took it. Their offer is now lower, $32k last I checked. Not willing to lose on the truck since it only has 2,500 miles.

If the 30-10 MPH vibe is the only issue with your truck, that's not too bad. Try some tests. First one with about 300+ lbs in the bed. That can be telling. My truck for sure rides smoother loaded down with people and bikes. I also went through 3 rebalances on my new Wildpeaks before they gave a second new set, which finally balanced.

That 150 is quick yet gets pricey upping options. Lately ford can't build many and their dealerships are screwing reservationists. That MAV gets good mileage but very cheap quality for me. Sorry

For anybody following this thread I dropped my stock 18 limited off at the dealer for the second time for this low speed vibration. The first time they mentioned they could perform the TSB which is essentially a band aid for the problem. I passed on that, but brought it back and asked them specifically to inspect the needle bearing and also to remove the driveshaft and test for vibrations. Upon further inspection they called me back and told me they are replacing the entire front diff as well as covering the cost of my rental. I was floored to say the least. Service advisor said Toyota doesn’t stand behind replacing the needle bearing itself but will instead cover the entire diff. This is with the Platinum Toyota extended warranty, my truck is at 57k for miles. Persistence paid off in this case with two appointments and a few phone calls. Much thanks to Tacoma World for all the input and a shout out to Toyota of Portsmouth NH. They have been great with me in sales and service with 3 different vehicles thus far.

Idk what your complaining about. I just turned 18k miles and my 2020 tacoma is as smooth as can be. My tundra was never 100% vibration free, but this truck is. Everything in the 4wd train operates slick as could be with no delays, or shifting in an out noises.

Came across this thread doing a search as I too have the deceleration vibration. Happens around 25 mph and less when I'm slowing down. Brand new 22' SR5 4x4. 200 miles on it. Feels like you're hitting a mini rubble strip

I’d have the dealer test drive and confirm the issue. They will probably start with performing the TSB. They replaced my entire front Diff and the problem is gone. Good luck

I have a 2022 dcsb 4x4 SR5 automatic and it does this. Just now has 1000 miles on it.

I’d be substantially more frustrated with a brand new truck. Mine waited until 57k before pulling this lol. If you plan on lifting the truck I’d look into this more before proceeding. I guess lifting the truck often creates the problem you already have. There is an aftermarket needle bearing made by ECGS you can install so you don’t get this again after lifting.

Again I went through this on my prior "new" 2021 Tacoma V6 2WD. It was measured out the wazoo and finally they determined I had out of spec leaf springs. They installed new ones and it went away. It left such a bad taste with me I traded it back and got another truck that doesn't have this issue.

    Good luck!

If still a very new truck with low low miles, see if the issue goes away by slipping the truck in neutral while only using the brakes to stop. If so, its likely the transmission's torque converter breaking in. Mine did the same, ever so slightly till i had around 1500 miles on the truck before it disappeared. Its never come back...at least not yet.

Bought mine in December and it did this from the start as well as the other Taco's I test drove. I was told by the dealership to let it break in and after finding this thread back then I chose to give it some time. I'm at 8500 miles now and it is still there but a little less then it was when new. Also when it was new, it had the vibration in neutral while coasting under 25 mph but now it goes away when put in neutral. With mine, the 'sweet' spot when it's the most is 23 mph. I have noticed a similar vibration at times at certain higher speeds as well. I will be bringing it in soon to have it looked at.

Please let us know the outcome. I'm deciding on "letting mine break in some more" before going to the dealer

I don't think the 2019 trd a buddy had ever went away either when he traded the truck in, and last i knew it had around 20k miles. I'm at 18k with my sr5 now...still 0 vibration anywhere in this truck. It had some you could barely detect up to about 1500 miles before it totally disappeared. Seemed when i started towing my trailers from the get go this vibration would become less and less. I wasn't one of those that listened to toyota for towing.

If that is true then mine would be the torque converter. Mine is RWD

I own a 2019 TRD OR with an automatic. Mine has 'shuddered' or vibrated sometimes when braking from roughly 40ish mph. Not hard braking, but planned braking. Has done this since new. Have 43,000+ miles on it now.

I think thats just a characteristic of those 2019 trd or's. The area toyota dealer even told my buddy that its normal for his truck.
