That's pretty wild. You'd think these trucks would all have close to the same driveline tolerances as each other. Off by 2 degrees is nuts. I need to get out and measure mine.

Had my 2022 for a year now. 6,000 miles. Dealer did the tsb today. New leaf springs. Seems to have eliminated 90% of the vibration. It was clearly noticeable from 30 to 10. Now it's very faint 25-20. So faint I'd probably not notice if I hadn't driven it w the vibration.
BTW the tsb includes 2022 now.

Well I suppose that's good news that they extended it. Not sure why the newer models wouldn't just get the fix in the first place but who knows what the deal is.

I didn't know the TSB was extended. Last time I was at the dealer, it didn't apply to 2022s. Since then, I've decided the stock ride is horrible and I was planning on installing Fox 2.0s (snap ring style) at 1" lift front and 0.5" blocks with a 1 degree shim in the rear. Now not sure what to do. I could get the TSB done but that still leaves the crappy ride. Could still go with Fox 2.0s at stock height I guess....

I have a 2022 OR long bed, and have been having this issue since new. Im at 10,000 now and it has not improved or worsened. Sometimes I get it from 40mph to 10, but it's mostly evident from 30-10. It's not a drastic vibration, and defiantly not warped rotors. The bulletin says it excludes the OR so im interest to know if anyone else has this issue on there OR, and or long bed. I'm suspicious of the driveshaft angle as much as I am the leaf springs.

Have you tried putting 250 or so pounds in the bed and testing from 30-10 MPH?

So you got the TSB done then installed an Eibach lift after? How much lift and what did you do with the rear suspension? Just leave the TSB axle shim or did you put a shim in with more angle?

I recently bought some 5100's but haven't decided if I'm going to do the TSB first or just toss an axle shim in myself. I'm also probably going to do the ECGS bushing just as a preventative measure. I haven't decided on the height but it will probably just be 0.65" front and 0" rear or 1.1" front and 1/2" rear like the Trail Edition. If I got for the 1/2" rear then I'll probably do the OEM lift block and a 1 degree shim.

That’s a clever idea to help flush out the driveshaft angle, but would you expect to see anything different if it were a leaf spring issue?

I'm no expert on the issue but most of us on here discussing this feel it's an issue with the driveline angles. The 30-10 vibe in in my truck goes away when there's about 250-300 lbs in the bed. I've measured my pinion angle with and without that weight and it changes 0.5 degrees from the sag. I think the TSB mainly helps this issue because the new leaf pack comes with pinion shims. I'm not sure what angle they are though, probably 0.5 or 1 degree.

That solves it. Put 300# in the bed and it removes the vibration. Although now I can tell how poorly the brakes work. The stopping power is good (not even very good) but you need to have a heavy pedal pressure.

now we need to see what the dealership says

Thats strange that tsb was extended to these newer models, Toyota usually will automatically upgrade to new parts, if a known issue exists, to correct any problems. I have the sr5 which came with no vibrations of any sort back in 2020, so I don't what's up with that, unless this pertains only to certain trims.

I read the TSB in this thread and it excludes the off road so I’m not sure if that’s been revised of if I’m going to have an extra issue.

Question is why? Did you do a lift?...whats it feel like? I've had my sr5 since new, and never once experienced a vibration of any sort. It's better than any past toyota pickup I've had.

No lift, everything stock. Bought it brand new. Never had it checked out since it seems like it is a pretty common issue on a lot of Tacomas according to this thread.

Maybe, but it drove one of my buddies crazy When his truck had some vibrations issues, and mine had none. Only difference, his was a trd double cab. Dealer told him all trd's have this ...it's normal. They didn't mention other trims. Could be that my sr5 is an access cab?

Someone in this thread referenced the TSB now including 2022. I cannot locate that via VIN search and I’d like to find that if anyone has the file.

    thank you

+1. Have a 22 sport DCSB. Have a vibration bit chalked it up to new tires and shitty balance.

is there a VIN lookup? Would be great
