    I agree with burtonboards32..
A sale on more than one item will ultimately bring you more business anyway.. otherwise if the sliders are on sale but I want a bumper, you wont get my money, but if i can get the bumper cheaper, then hell.. i might even get the sliders too and have them shipped together ya know??

Sarah- How soon would this GB be happening? and as someone else asked, what kind of a discount would be offered?

You can't do this because on some products companies have different markups on products. Example: If it is something they have made just for them or make in house like bumpers, skids, and other stuff the cost is going to be a lot less then say a pair of Coil overs that are made by Fox, OME, ect. Something that All-Pro does though is when they do a group buy they normally offer a smaller discount on other items when you buy some thing. Another thing is the whole point of a group buy is to order a bunch of one item to get a discount. The problem with doing this with the whole store is there are too many items to do this for and they have to know how many people are going to order so they can give the proper discount.

    This is true.

All-Pro gets more money on items made in house versus items that are distributed from another manufacturer. The reason that the discount on all items wouldn't work is because the discount percentage would take away from the money that they make after paying of another distributor, however, if they do a certain percentage off of something made in house they still receive a profit.

As far as I'm concerned if there isn't a group buy for something that could interest my 4runner I don't care. :)

They can and do have store wide sales and they should do it again :). The idea is that you get lured in by the sale and then tack on the other things that you may not have wanted to buy at that same time but are now forced to due to the discount.

To clarify, the way group buys work is we can buy larger quantities from our suppliers knowing we're selling more of that product, and can then pass that discount on to our customers! We just wanted to get an idea of which item(s) are desired at this time, so we can plan accordingly.
