Poll: Are you happy with your Tacoma?

Overall I'm happy with my truck, but if I had to do it again, I'd probably get one with a tow package or at least a hitch installed.

I like the base model SR5 because I'm going to mod it, anyway -- but getting one with a tow package and maybe a locker would have been preferential.

 

I love my current one, and I loved my 2007.

After six months of owning it, I still look forward to driving it to work everyday. The only way I'd get rid of it would be to upgrade to a newer Tacoma.

well my wife had mine ready for me when i got home for r&r.... in those 15 days i put 3k miles on it i love it so far and im sure that wont change

 

I love my TACOMA more than anything. I baby it everyday

 

Not happy w/ the Steering wheel shake,that's about it...

 

The only thing that I don't like about my truck is the gas mileage.

 

I hate haveing to constantly go in for a new blower motor and I hate the squeeks and creeks in the cabin. Love the fuel efficiancy, love the room, love the looks, and I love that because i was the first owner I can expect 200k+ if I maintain it well

 

i had an older toyota pickup that i built had 380,00 miles on it. i was convinced i needed a bigger truck. 97 chevy long bed extended cab lifted on 35's 8 miles to the gallon. sold it and figured i would give toyota another go. 96 tacoma modded out and i will never go back, might upgrade in a few years to newer one but will never get rid of it

 

This makes me love my truck!

 

I have always owned one of the (Detroit) big three in my life but this is my first Tacoma. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that my previous trucks have had but I have "modded it up" and I can truly say that I love my Toyo Taco. I can whip it in and out of a parking lot or I can put it in 4 wheel drive and mud it out. The stereo is the basic one but it beats all the previous stock stereos (even the "mighty" Bose I had in my GMC Sierra) by far. I even get two more miles to the gallon than my old GMC so a fill up is less expensive each time. I've gotten lots of compliments on it to boot...

 

Im pretty happy cuz we've had our taco for about 6 years now (bought september 05) and it runs smoother than my moms 05 highlander! (highlander was bought in january 05)

 

had a 1st gen and it went through hell and back and the beer was still cold. and my 2nd gen has impressed me everytime i take it off the pavement. ive had all different american made vehicles and wont own another. TACOMA FOR LIFE

 

If only they would recall the blower motors and install a better manufactured one... Under warranty, I'm on my 3rd one in just over a year. Same damn cricket noise. (yes, I've seen the do-it-yourself forums on this).

The fixes on here are only a temp fix... mine keeps coming back. It's a real design flaw... by that I mean the entire assembly is retarded. Honestly I'm disappointed with the entire A/C unit...

 

After nearly 9 years and 153k miles later I still love my '03 DoubleCab. It shows no signs of stopping yet.
