I love my Tacoma. The only thing that has upset me about it is the steering wheel shake that happens at speeds above 75. New tires helped after I got rid of the Dunflops, but it seems like it is just a common problem with the alignment or something. Other than that I love everything about it

this maybe my 3rd posting on this thread as it is a long running thread. so my 2011 tacoma has the trd package and has had the spring tsb performed. up to this point i have been very pleased with my tacoma. this is my third tacoma. all have been great. nancy and i have been talking about a travel trailer for a while so we finally pulled the trigger. we installed a tekonsha p3 brake controller and the trailer dealer installed a self leveling anti sway hitch on the trailer. if you are going to do this read the trailer towing bible in this forum. the only thing i had towed at this point was my 10' utility trailer. we live in greenville, sc. to get to black mountain, nc one has to take hwy 25 and go up the "saluda grade". so we were stressing a bit pulling a 22' trailer and looking at the mountains ahead of us. long story short...no problemo. the tacoma did just fine. 60mph all the way to the top. I LOVE MY TACO!

toyodas in general, PHENOMENAL! I have had a 93 camry, 93/95 4runner, 2003 Tacoma, I have never EVER had a check engine light or had to be towed. I even rolled my 4runner and replaced the body and still sold it for 4500 with 170k on it. 100k is the toyoda breaking in period.

I've had mine for 4mo now. I love it, but traded 26 mpg for 18 mpg. I'm really starting to notice now. Like other posters have written, the craving for mods hits hard. It's like crack, I feel myself thinking about stealing granny's jewelry for a lift or wheels and tires. I've been able to control the urges so far. Can't say for the future......

I love it, the only thing I would change is heated mirrors… maybe once the warranty is up.

I love my 2009 Tacoma Regular Cab. The only 2 things I don't like is that the window in the back of the cab is too small to crawl through and I can't disable the ABS.

No I haven't gotten bigger the window is smaller than previous trucks I've owned.

It's too big. Why are Tundra and Tacoma on same platform? The old smaller Tacomas were much better sized.
Hard to shift gears in manual and have to depress clutch pedal almost to floor to shift. Hard to find a seat position that enables shifting without being jammed under the steering wheel/dash even adjusting the wheel.
Shift pedal squeaks-probably rubber cover sliding around on pedal itself. Dealer can't fix.
Gets leaves and trash in ventilation system due to defective design in cowl grill. Lots and lots of really big slots/openings. Trash, leaves and even acorns go straight through to cabin filter and then around it into blower unit. Dealer can't fix and Toyota doesn't care.
No step on back bumper and back bumper is too high for easy entry into bed.
Plastic grill is hard to clean and parts of it are purely cosmetic. No holes for ventilation, just deep indentations which are impossible to clean.
No hooks in back for hanging shopping bags. Even with Access Cab, these should be available.

I love my Tacoma, perfect size just wish the seats were a little more comfy which is my only complaint
    Everything is right on
I'm at 182k and I've only replaced the clutch at 130k, steering rack due to my personal mistake, and water pump.

Like it a lot. Like others have said, I went from a 25+ MPG car to the 18-19 MPG on this truck. Starting to really notice it now after a month of having it. Other than that, I can't really complain about it. I like the space, the looks, the way it drives. Has plenty of power, and the resale value is way better than my previous car. [IMG]
