i LOVE my taco !!! its my first truck and iv only had it since june 2010 but so far so good!

Are you kiddin me? I frickin love my Taco!

 

Love my taco, but hate the fact it doesn't have heated mirrors or a defroster that works well. Come summer, these will be moot points.

 

Love my truck, i just regret not researching before I picked it out... Never even knew X-Runners existed till recently... If i could do it again I would go with one of those in a heartbeat haha

 

I can't figure out the no heated mirrors thing , my only complaint .

 

Love my truck going to run it into the ground. Going to turn it into 4x4 monster and then a diesel Truck either f350 or Dodge CUmmings. So i can Tow my 4x4 monster around

 

Most vehicle can benefit from parking with window open a very small crack (even as little as 1/4 inch).

 

like most things about it. except: its 2wd not 4wd, 4cyl not 6cyl. engine size i can get over but the 2wd really bugs me

 

Was purchasing a 4x4 out of the question ?

 

well actually when my dad and i were looking at trucks he said i had to get a tacoma and i agreed cus i liked them. so we started looking and laid down a list of what we were looking for. 4x4, extra cab, v6, white or black. but he has this problem with buying things off craigslist because he doesnt trust people even tho my uncles a mechanic and was going to come and look at them with us and also take the truck into his shop before we bought it. eventually after looking for a few months nothing came up and then this officer at his work was selling her sons taco, white 2000 4banger prerunner. well he decided to buy it without me looking at it. so granted i got a truck, i mean i helped pay for it but i cant be a spoiled little brat and bitch about it, it still kinda pissed me off but i never complained.

 

as far as mine personaly i sometimes wish it was 4x4, sometimes places id like to go that i cant "Trails and exc" hhmm wonder if i could add the 4x4 components

You know, my 2010 had that when I first got it. Not really sure why, but it went away on it's own. I'm not positive but I think it went away after I put the bumper and armor on... could have had something to do with suspension angle changes or just something that was improperly lubricated... I dunno I'm just glad it's gone lol.

 

I miss a lockable gas cap access door. My '98 Tacoma had one, but my 2011 Tacoma does not.

 

I love my Kristen, she is the only truck I'd want to drive with the exception of a Hilux. That being said, she is a money sucking trail whore. I still need full belly skids, new sliders, lights, OBA, dual batt, MOAR recovery gear, AP bed cage, rhino line the interior, ...

 

Yeah....I kinda like it.

 

I love it! I will never exchange it with another kind of truck except for TUNDRA.

BTW, it has 195,500 miles now.
