Other than parts randomly falling off in the 1st 500 miles (wheel center cap, mudflap rivits), it is OK.

    .
Best damn vehicle i've ever owned, period, well, i did love my little 85 toyota pick up too. But this thing is a beast, I put a set of Goodyear AT/S's on it and it's so damn heavy and stable I'm looking for heavy weather driving, anywhere, up a cliff, through the snow, down a mountain, I don't care. Hydroplaning? What's that? If you can't at least do the speed limit in a storm, then will you PLEASE GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY WAY!
Ok the mileage isn't that great, but it's a trade off. Also, with the shell and the rack, it catches crosswinds like a sail.
Little gripes, the rear suspension sucks balls, way too weak, need an AAL somethin fierce. It also has a little too much body roll for my liking, I'm not cutting curves like a Porsche but it's a little too soft. Stereo bites, but hey, it's a stock unit, I want a stereo powerful enough to shake the bumpers off of the cars around me and kill small mammals at close range. I'm gonna replace that pretty little front bumper with something guaranteed to kill whatever i hit and when the revolution comes I'm gonna yank the shell off and weld the fiftys to the lumber rack.
But above all, this fuckin truck makes me look good!

I love my truck! I cannot complain about the things i do not like : Manual windows, manual locks, not as fast as i'd like.. because i bought her that way! my fault, but she looks freakin beautiful, is very dependable, and chicks love it!

I love my truck! Thats why I bought the same exact one after I totaled my first...sure there are some things that could be better, but you will experience that with any vehicle. I wouldn't want to drive anything but my baby :) ...well except for a cummins, but thats only if i can have both :D

    Just give it some time
I've only just gotten mine, it's my first truck, and I'm not the most mechanically inclined guy. Also, I got it used from a Nissan dealer that only had one other Tacoma, and it's not like that's what I was dead set on getting, so I don't know of what other options there are. That being said, it's a beautiful truck that rides great, is a great size, turns like a champ, and has a pretty good reputation.

But I can echo some sentiments. I hate the beige interior. Black or dark grey works for me. Not fond of the radio or sound system as a whole. Bought two cars on the same day, my g/f getting a Nissan Rogue. For a stock system, that thing bumps. The Taco's, not so much. I understand that there are 6ft beds available, but my DC has the 5ft. I drive large trucks for a living, the extra foot isn't going to kill me. And the stock Dunlop tires are just about garbage.

As I'll have a very hard time resisting the urge to mod, most of what I could complain about I'll be remedying on my own.

Seriously, wtf is up with the cup holders? lol It's probably the one thing I've pointed out to everyone I've shown my truck to.

The only thing that I regret in my regular cab is not having power locks.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
Does a gas cap door rusting off of a 2006 add to my satisfaction?

There is a few things I hate, But for the most part I like it.
The main issue is the stereo---Sounds like shit. Rear Spaeakers under the headliner? What dumbass came up with that idea? Something I'll fix someday.
Made with alot of plastic parts. Seems cheap.

Went for the Tacoma cause I like the feel and drive of my girlfriends FJ... Not all Toyotas are created equal.
