This is my 5th Toyota and my second Tacoma. I love them except for the fact my stupid blpwer fan is driving me nuts. That's even after a new blower motor was installed. Not happy with Toyota right now.

Got my 2011 TRD Off Road, TX PRO, DC, SB in October of 2010 just last week hit 5000 miles. Absolutely love the truck. Of course there are the little things I would like to change but nothing major. Only thing I don't like was not being able to turn ABS off with all the snow in the Northwest here but that isn't something I can't change.

Coming up on 6 months, I'm starting to really like mine. Coming from an '85 Nissan with a ripped up seat & no stereo, I feel like royalty every time I drive the '10. :D

If it keeps starting and driving the way it has, and doesn't require any major repairs till late in the decade, I think we'll get along just fine.

I love my Taco. Its been the best vehicle my family has ever owned. Can't say the best ive ever owned seeing its the only vehicle i have ever personally had. My family has had other Toyota's like an Avalon, Highlander, Camry, Tundra, and older Pickups and my Taco has been the best. I do plan to keep it for a very long time and one day, plan to make a work truck for dads apple orchard. So, my Taco will be around for quite some time, and i know ill love every minute of owning it!

I was so confident it was the best truck available, I stopped by the dealership, the sticker was reduced and the financing went from 5.9 to 3.9 percent, I just said, Yeah I'll take this one. The one in the showroom, he thought I was kidding, and asked if I wanted a test drive, I said naa, just write it up. Didn't even test drive it!!!
After owning 4 Toyota's and a variety of shitty GM's and Ford's, Toyota was by far the best. I've had it three years with no issues at all, just change the oil. Some people want more luxury items, that's the shit that breaks and causes the headaches.
I am happy with this truck and plan on keeping it till my house is paid for, and that's going to be a while, cause mortages suck more than truck payments.

Not as sturdy as my 99 was, but it's pretty darn good. I wouldn't be driving it if I wasn't satisfied...

Have owned Toyota trucks since 1991. They are the best truck for the active person who likes to enjoy the outdoors. Toyota took the average American guy from 18-60 who loves to camp, fish, hunt, bike, mountain climb, trail ride, ect, ect, and built for him the perfect combination of utility, power, and looks. They seem to strive each year to perfect it more and more which tells me they listen to the consumer. The Tacoma has defined success for the brand in the US. And because of it, their reputation remains strong regardless of other failures.

None YET! (It's only got 50 miles on it.)
I still have my 1998 that has 312k on it. No oil consumption, still very tight and a lot of fun to drive. I just bought a new one but if you are worried only because of the mileage.....I say drive it!
