Had a lunar rock TRD Off rd on order but my dealer couldn't get one allocated. He has the same truck I wanted in Magnetic Grey Metallic. My third choice of color. It's grown on me and I think it looks really nice.

I have MGM and really like the look of it but I cannot believe they took away cement! Last time I was at my dealer they had a 2020 cement SR5 4x4 double cab in the showroom with the TRD lift , pro wheels, Falken wildpeake tires and blackout package. One of the best looking Tacoma's I believe I have ever seen. If I hadn't just got a 22 , I would have been all over it! Lol

Surprised how well the green is liked. I’m not big on it, but was tempted to try and get one and have it striped like my first Toyota. Think I was 7 when I got it
    anyone remember stompers ?

Quicksand, quicksand, quicksand. "Ordered" my 2016 during 2015 exactly as I wanted it, having never seen quicksand in person. Took a risk and it paid off. I previously had a black second gen and said never again. Every other car I've ever owned was light silver, so that was also in the running, but I preferred the non-metallic quicksand.

Silver blends in with the roadway...
What Car Colors Have the Most Accidents?
Black Cars. Some research has revealed that black vehicles are the most dangerous on the road. ...
Grey and Silver Cars. Grey and silver cars are also correlated with an increased likelihood of being involved in an accident.
Blue Cars. Blue is one of the two most popular color choices for cars in America. ...
Red Cars. Since visibility seems to be the driving factor when discussing car color and accident risk, you may think that red is a safe choice.
Green Cars. Green cars are perhaps the safest of the “most dangerous” colors on the road. ...

    I used to own a traffic cone orange car and kept it shiny and polished as all hell and had dick bag HID's in the reflector housing headlights (didn't know any better then) and managed to get T-Boned on a flat straight road by a guy making a left turn on a cloudless sunny day, sun infront of me so I know it wasn't blinding him;

I don't think blending into the road or surroundings is really a thing I think some people are just blind morons.

Predator steps, TRD cat-back, lots of orange stickers.
The xD RS 1.0 Series is a sweet, sweet ride. Orange everything, right down to the seat fabric. Those things caught my eye from when my dad bought his 2008 xD when I was a kid, to now with my Inferno Tacoma..

It was my first automotive love, I still miss it often.

Especially when gas is $5/gal and I got 37mpg with it.

Worse yet I tracked it down after I had to sell it to try and buy it back but the owner after me trashed it, smashed it and still wouldn't sell it.

Had all the TRD goodies on it, whatever the off ramp speed limit was I could double it, often tripple it with confidence, mostly in thanks to the sticky Michelin Pilot Sport 235 40 ZR17 tires.

And honestly the manual trans was pretty nice in it.

Only issues is it was FWD and the wheel hop was horrendous.

    She's not completely gone though.

I gotta agree on the gray /silver colored vehicles. I bought a 2006 silver tundra that was in an accident when a lady texting didn't stop, and plowed into it broad side. The insurance company that totaled it, said she told the police she never even saw the truck as it proceeded through the 4 way stop signal after it had stop for it.

Hopping in here to say that seemingly one can think a color is the “sickest” but also not want it for themselves. I got a white because it’s way less ostentatious. And I’m a dad of two kids - not wanting to look like I’m having a mid life crisis with my truck. The tacoma colors are bright and hot shotty… glossy and candy coated. I think AG and Lunar Rock are easily the sickest colors. I thought I wanted one of those. But then I pictured my new truck with the wheels, tires, lift, and shell I wanted and it just looked down right flashy. Which is not my style. So I went white. White with the off road trim, plus the lift, shell, methods, wild peaks, and TRD grill etc and it doesn’t look like some remote control monster truck. It’s bad ass but still understated in a way. Like the old ranger trucks I used to drive around when I worked in Yosemite.

But, yeah, white is NOT the coolest color. And it’s downright ugly in the sport trim. But with what I’m doing it’s the right color for me.

Did I think about this too much?

I really love my MGM truck but if AG hadn't been a $20k+ option, that's what I'd be driving.

Toyota is supposedly putting a hold on the AG color.
