I agree, you don't see a lot of the 1st gens with the color matched grill, mirrors, etc. Those are my favorite ones. Keep the silver!!

Stay with the silver. When I bought mine, I went with what was on the lot, which was nothing but SR-5's with chrome stuff on it.

I worked with what I had, if I had bought a monochromatic schemed truck I would have worked with that as well. When I bought my truck I had no idea I'd feel the way I do about it and that there was such a huge taco folowing, otherwise I would have been much more selective. I went from buying a truck to haul me around to modding my taco...

Keep what you have. The truck looks GREAT. The silver helps blend all of the parts in and makes it look smoother. More unified.

Each truck here has its own personality and flavor, thank goodness every truck doesn't look exactly the same!

I think the silverites have convinced me: the truck looks good the way it is. Thanks for all the posts, ideas, and comments. I'm still curious about that "brushed aluminum?"

Naw, sorry. It was just something that popped into my head but it would definitely be the top of the list if I had a grill to do it to.
