We've got a few forums popping up concerning vibration issues seen when driving between 2100-2300 RPMs.
Seems like the old driveline vibration issue rearing its head, causing the pedal, steering wheel, and floorboard to vibrate.

Has anyone started seeing this on theirs?

I have no vibes on the 2WD. But am battling a slight BG howling noise

Nothing major. A tiny vibration on the driver's door near the window controls when speakers are playing. Stops the moment you touch it. Nothing driveline related.

You should also add to the poll whether it's an automatic or manual.

I can feel it, but very mild. Maybe on a long drive (haven't done more than 25-30 miles in a straight shot) it would be annoying, don't know.

I have a very mild vibration when I reach speeds under 25mph braking. Dealer said it was normal and was transmission related :-/

No vibrations, but under heavy acceleration at highway speeds, I have notice what sounds like a very large bell ringing sound from the back until I let off of the accelerator.

So I have a hesitation, sort of like when driving a clutch and you are in too low of a gear. I took it in, and they told me it was normal. <sigh> I'm going to take it to another dealer for my first oil change and have them take a look

Probably the same issue. They drove a couple of the other trucks on the lot and said they all did it so it was "normal". Maybe if enough people take it in Toyota will issue a tsb for it

The others I test drove didn't have this problem... but when I test drive I guess I give them a little more on the gas to see how they might accelerate.

Seems every noise and operational issue is "a normal characteristic" of this truck..Amazing

Seems like the big problems with the new 3rd gen is cabin noise, either from the rear vents or something causing a harmonic pitch, to vibrations in the drive train. Weren't both of these issues according to Toyota fixed going from the 2nd to 3rd gen?

3" lift, goodyear wrangler duratracs 285/70r17, k&n filter, bakflip vp tonneau and tint.
That I agree on is major cabin noise. I'm just going to dynamat the whole inside of the truck including roof floor doors and rear of cab.

I'd be interested in seeing this. Lots of work and a good amount of weight added, but probably well worth the much quieter cab.

Man I hope I don't have any of these issues that are popping up. Especially since I'll be no where near a dealership!

Most of the posts seem like a noise issue..... Mine may be a tire issue. I added some duratracs. I wouldn't worry to much about it
