Based on the other forums, it seemed the off-roads additional features may have mitigated the vibration issue. I put them separate to see if this was the case.
If I were to redo it I would have put every trim on its own (maybe a little to excessive).

That seems highly unlikely. I don't think I've seen anyone else complain about that.

Yeah, I never said I believe them haha. I think most of the techs and even service advisors know less about these trucks than the majority of us do

Have you talked to a different dealership to see what they say? Are you sure it's not the tires? A quick way to test would be multiple gears at the same speed to see if the vines are there. Ive never seen an AT tire vibe at 25mph but I've seen some really aggressive MTs or flat spotted non DOT tires do it.

I haven't checked with another dealer, only have 1 local but may end up trying another. I've never heard of tires vibrating at low speeds unless it's a mt like you said. They're glass smooth at highway speeds so I thought that ruled out tire balance issues? Are you saying use the sport shift and say leave it in 2nd coming to a stop? If so, I may try that. Thanks for the suggestions!

Sounds like a design issue they can't fix. They reached for higher mileage with early up shifts for better mileage, this sounds like a poor trade off. Probably can't re program the trans through a TSB, that would reduce the MPG rating.

I doubt it's a balance issue as well. I was agreeing that ATs are unlikely to to cause the issue but if the tread is aggressive enough, it's possible. Shifting the transmission to a different gear to see if it's still vibrating could eliminate a few possible options as to the vibration.

If you change gears and it's no longer there, then it's probably from the transmission or engine. If it is still there it's likely the rear end or tires. You could try it one of 2 ways. One is going into second like you said, the other is putting it in neutral.

Under acceleration (particularly between 2-3k rpms) I feel significant vibration/buzzing in the pedal. The louder the engine the greater the vibration. I assumed this was normal.

Is this what people are taking issue with?

I took possession yesterday, TRDORAC. I am getting vibes between 20-27 mph. All other speeds are smooth as glass. Feels like tires to me. It occurs in that range regardless of whether I am on the accelerator.

You'll likely get used to it, just turn up the radio a little louder.

I test drove a 4x4 auto double cab sport. it had some vibration in the steering wheel as if the tires were not properly balanced.

The 4x4 limited that i bought does not have any vibrations in the steering/pedal, or have the 35mph howl... however yesterday i noticed the passenger seat vibrating pretty good at idle (appears to go away at higher speed). I didn't sit in it so maybe it's not something you feel but it looked like something wrong.

I finally got a new 4x4 DCSB Sport automatic this weekend and picked up on the significant buzzing vibration in the pedal and steering wheel that others have mentioned when I'm in the 2,000-3,00 rpm range. I called the dealer service center and they said it's a known issue they've reported on some models. They said they'd call me when they learn more. Otherwise, truck is great.
