I wonder what an SR5 in quicksand would look like with the steel wheels color matched. Anyone want to photoshop? That could look pretty cool with a good set of ATs.

I personally think this color would be a huge hit on a regular cab with the off road package. But we'll never know.

    Love the Quicksand!
I got mine a week ago DCSB OR 4x4, it's a pretty good color match to my D110.

If you haven't seen it in person yet, you should before a " go/no go" is made.imo. It's a tough color to get right in pics. I like it

Saw it in person on I think a TRD Sport and didn't like it. The pic on the first page with the black fenders and rims looks alright though. I much prefer the magnetic gray or blue.

Love the color, also like the FJC color cement. Thinking of getting a DCSB in quicksand to go with my dune JKU.

I keep looking at the one local, and keep thinking that if the color had some depth, it'd be badass.

I originally ordered it but chickened out and changed to white 2 weeks later. I do like it but I thought was too "manly" for me.

I hate tan period. I wouldn't own a truck in that color ever.

For others I understand why they may like it. BUT I still think it's a bad color because the clear coat is too shiny. The purpose of the tan is to be a non-metallic color option. The over shine on the clear coat ruins that. So I'm surprised the color is so popular.

This is about the best picture I have seen that accurately represents it's tone. At least through my eyes.

Color branding. The color is popular because it's one of Toyotas original off road staple colors. Just as Porsche and Ferrari are synonymous with red, Jag is British racing green, Toyota has it's tan/quicksand. I had an '85 Toyota SR5 SCLB Pick-up pre-runner in tan and I still have sellers remorse for getting rid of it 25 years later. I'll always have a fondness for tan Toyotas.

I dig this Quicksand color so much so that i wish only very small amount of people orders/buys it, resulting in Toyota droppping this color going forward.

This way only few would have this color, making it truly a rare color. Muhaha! :-DDDD

This is pretty accurate. Looks much better than the similar color offerings from Jeep and others that I have seen.

I've been getting a ton of compliments on my quicksand Tacoma. The only thing that I don't like is that the color is unique and sort of stands out. I'd rather be a bit more discreet.
