Spacer Lift is good....only if you plan on driving on flat, newly paved roads...

Had a Pre-Runner with Spacer lift.....traded, now have a 4x4 and going with Pro Comp 3" with AAL....

i have 5100's at 2.5" and was gonna add toytec 1/4" (for .5" lift) top plate spacer for a full 3", is this bad? should I not do that or is the spacer small enough to where i should prolly be fine about not damaging anything

Not sure of small spacers... I.E. like .25 or .5 ..... should be fine from what I've read from previous owners....I had a 2.5 Spacer on my Pre Runner...and thought it really sucked....so going with Pro Comp on my new recent purchase....

I have 3" over coil spacers and 2" blocks and I don't mind em so far, but I love to wheel so I want to upgrade eventually. I need more money first though, haha. I want berried tires and rims first though since ill be off to college soon and probly wont see much offroad then.

I haven't made up my mind yet but I am considering just using the top plate spacers from zone offroad.

The only offroading I do ever is driving through mud to get to hunting spots. I don't and don't plan on doing any rocks or heavy trails or jumping my rig. That's why I'm on the fence about what lift to do..

dont know the price for a complete 3" spacer lift but you could get the 3" procomp lift that dosent use spacers for like $400-500 (better than a spacer anyday)

Check my build thread...too much to list.
Had a spacer lift that was put on by the dealer to fit 33's...Then I found TW and dropped a good amount of cash for Foxes all around and AP leaf packs.

Just changed from 3'' spacer to 5100's @ .85 w/ Eibachs. I left the block in the rear and it rides like a new truck! I try to hit bumps now instead of avoiding them.
