    Stay stock for several reasons.

    1. Don't want to give the fuzz any reason to pull you over and undo your mods.

    2. Safety. There are many morons on the road. Many aren't paying attention. If they rear end you, they can say it was because they couldn't see your lights.

    3. Safety again. It just makes more sense to make your truck visable to people behind you and not increase the chances of someone not noticing your lights by decreasing it's output.

A light tint would be OK if you really wanted it. I personally DO NOT like the blacked out taillights. Its cheap custom looks.

Personally, I would leave it alone. If you get rear-ended, you run the risk that someone could hold that against you in court and find you liable. After all, it is illegal. Why take the chance.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
My attempt at not getting police attention, avoiding the above concerns and making the Taco "pink" taillights look a little better
