    Exactly!

Thankfully, there are a bunch of really good people on here who aren’t like that.

I've always hated the look of camper shells and still kind of do, but after owning one I love the usefulness of it even though it makes me feel like I'm driving my dad's truck around.

Yup - had a lot of fiber this weekend.

The truck, not so much - my program decided to crank up the pressure and added a 20 page research paper on to my workload for the end of the semester. Hopefully I can keep my new years resolution of making it move again :anonymous:

You're making me so glad I graduated last Spring. Last quarter had a single class that made me write 52 pages of essay answers. Luckily it was pretty easy to find the answers, but still I wrote a small novel haha.

I've been a full time college student for 12 of the past 17 years :( If I complete everything I'm trying to accomplish this semester, this summer I'll have a ba, ma, and a CA state teaching credential. I don't know what free time will be like - it's been 8 years since I went back to school. I might have to write some essays just so the shock doesn't kill me this summer.

Jeez, yeah I think I'd have been committed to a mental institution by now if I stayed in education that long.

Lol read my new tag line - they don't call them educational institutions for nothing. 52 pages is a novel - I figure if you didn't have to regurgitate all that information you could have made better use of your time. [/Rantmodeengaged] Some teachers and professors may have never had a job outside of education. I'm sure there's opportunities to get paid for not being an effective practitioner across many fields, but I feel like most people like that become educators. [/Rantmodedisengaged]

And for the OP - I'm holding out for the Pelfreybilt hybrid or gtfo. If it takes too long to come out or they decide not to put one out, this will be my alternative:

I still find it funny you took off a perfectly good ARB to have nothing in the meantime. Although the ARB is probably the most unnecessarily bulky of the plate bumpers.

It doesn't hold together for long if you replace steel nails with aluminum ones.

Those ray 10's didn't pay for themselves :spy:

Yes and I didn't like the style on my truck, but it looks cool on others I've seen. Just not my thing.

Nope, but for an upcharge you can get pressure treated if you're too lazy to paint it in a rainy / cold weather state.

Not really though, it’s just more expensive school.

Don't get me wrong, it's a tool to get to do some great things in life, but as with most things there's some down sides.

Compared to hearing the guys complain about the same stuff every day when I was working construction, school is a much better option - it helps to have a goal for what you want to do with your education. I learned that one the hard way after 4 years of doing something I wasn't really into. I'm glad I had the opportunity to go though.
