I'm swapping my quicksand Tacoma out for a white Tundra.. I hope I don't regret the decision but I figured if I got quicksand again it might not feel like different enough of a truck??

 

Wanted quicksand but this was the only truck they had on the lot with an MT.

 

No. It came like that. Code is 202.. Black or Black Onyx.

I called this black color as "Black Onyx" because of gloss black similar to the actual black onyx.

I am considering to have my truck wrapped to matte black someday.

 

There's somebody here that rhino lined their exterior, and frankly from the pics, doesn't look bad at all.

 

Dealers have lots of those white ones here along with black...mostly cause they lease them. Not surprised about quicksand being the most popular...didn't see all but one at dealers here for nearly 2 years...had to order mine in that color. Cement is very common though, so is silver. They are everywhere. Its too-doo blue thats not caught on. I guess one reason its called a gay color among owners here.

Interesting, that is news to me. I thought all black 3rd gens are midnight black metallic. Green, blue and purple flakes.

 

Yes I saw that but I don't want the textured paint. I saw multicam wrapped Tacoma other day like this one:




Awesome wrap. I am considering to have matte black or some designed wrap such as company logos, something like that.

 

That's actually not bad looking.

 

MBM added to 2018 and up... Mine is 2017. I am lucky to get thiss truck before Toyota changed color names in 2018.

Mine is black, and they are beautiful when clean, but they are a bear to keep clean. Just keeping it real.

I mean a do love my black paint. I think the green, blue and purple metallic is super cool. You can only see the metallic in the sun.

Just very curious to see how the other black looks like.
