Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
    I like it best because:
    - It can be had with an Access Cab (no dbl cab for me).
    - My current Taco has an Access Cab.
    - It has a full length bed.
    - Has the mechanical features I want.
    - With a cap I can sleep in the back without having to curl into a half-circle.
    - It has the towing capacity I need.
    - I'm not forced to accept the Yuppie/Millennial digital crap.
    - I'll have some funds left to mod to suit ME.
Plus a bunch of other stuff I can't think or right now.

Rear diff lockers! Also crawl control is pretty cool although idk how often I’ll use it; still nice to have. It’s basically a pro that I can build myself.

    Stock for now.. maybe
I got a manual transmission... thats all I cared about other than a v6 4x4 access cab.

Didn't want a f...ing scoop either so no off road or sport. Base or sr5 is good for me!

These threads are stupid. Sorry to sound grumpy but what’s the point. I’m sure the Ranger forum needs some new members.

If you feel they are stupid, not sure why you commented. Agree not very productive as it is all opinion but we all have our reasons for choosing a specific model and it can be interesting to see why others chose as we did. Me, had a 2.7 2WD, 3.5 2WD, 3.5 4WD Sport and it came down to the OR had the options i wished I had in my other trucks.
All Tacos, in my humble opinion, are great trucks, but we all have different wants and desires for our trucks.
I hope you have a blessed day Greg and to all Tacoma owners.

Better riding suspension on Pennsylvania roads and the crawl control is handy getting onto my remote construction sites....plus that silly scoop on the Sport was just a big “nope” for me.

Did you not sense the sarcasm

Yes, yes it is a Friday thread on a Wednesday. You have a Sport listed in your sig there sport...So why open the thread?

You both are free to find your way out of the thread. There is no Tacoma World rule that demands you need to provide input on threads you don't find interesting.

I bought an OR because I wanted a 6MT for under 40k OTD. First truck to pop up that fit my wants. Also, the rear locker is nice and personally I do not really care for the sport scoop.

Bought a 13 OR specifically for the locker and ATRAC. Both features get used almost every weekend
