Do you prefer Tacoma Double Cab with B Pillar Trim (decal) installed between windows or without?

  1. Looks better with satin black decals installed?

    Not a dumb question.

Leave the truck out in the hot sun, or use a blow dryer or heat gun, and allow the vinyl to get hot. The underlying glue will soften. Using your finger nail, pull up a corner and SLOWLY pull off the vinyl/sticker. Any remaining glue residue can be removed with WD40, paint thinner (turpentine), or Goo Gone.

It's personal preference. If you like the Gen 2 cab look, then take off the vinyl. I prefer the Gen 3 look and left mine on.

Update; I ordered new decals from TRD Shop.com for about $55 and paid a local wrapper $42 to install them. I like the look better. Thanks for all your opinions and votes.

Would these vinyl decals fit the Gen 2 b pillars or are there differences in the doors?
