    Hey know-all of everything a-trac, I have a question. If you off road for a long time in a place like the dunes with lots of wheel spin wouldnt your a-trac start to overheat your brakes?

    It will. TRAC and ATRAC will also cause premature wearing of the pads and shoes too. Already had to replace pads and shoes before 60k miles. Shoes were gone about 10k miles ago.

    I dont even have atrap (lol at the poll). I have a 1st gen. Just a counter point to the "atrac works just as good as a locker" argument

    If you don't have ATRAC you can't talk bad about it! After all it makes a Tacoma "tank like" and "can go anywhere"! :D
