I would like to get some data on the Goodyear Wrangler that comes on the Off Road and Pro...

Please answer the question and give your experience if you like. Select all that apply. You may edit your votes. Let me know if you want other options

Other threads are just about experiences, not a poll

I got a puncture today on a trail. 28,700 miles. We were planning on getting new tires soon so we plugged it and went to America's Tire and had them slap the spare on. Ordered up some Cooper ST Maxx for our upcoming trailer towing.

Never put 1 mile on mine but I like them for the OR, much better tire than the 2nd gen OR's came with.

I do wish the Pro came with a better tire, like the 4Runner Pro has the Nittos. (even if they are SL)

2,700 miles and I picked up a screw. Not the tires fault, I really like the performance of the Goodyears. I'd buy them again, some wouldn't.

32,000km (20,000miles) in 6 months and I got two nails in two tires. I live in a community that's still being developed so I wasn't terribly surprised haha

Exactly, the 2nd Gens came with Rugged Fails, those were perhaps some of the worst tires ever made.

Put about 1800 miles on mine before I swapped out for Duratracs. Were decent tires while I had them, did great in the snow, never had a chance to get them off-road though

16k, no issues - barely worn. curious whether those who've had problems are running at higher PSI. I run mine @ 32 and they barely heat up any more than 2 psi on the road.

I just got back from a 1300kM (800mile) trip, all off road, on a mix of unmaintained FSRs, dirt roads, and gravel roads. No problems. Stock OR tires are fine for off-road travel and over-landing, unless you're mudding. Helped a guy plug a K-bro-too along the way, which was ironic.

I may be alone, but I actually like the way the stock tires look.

You're not alone. These tires ride great on the pavement and have never given me problems off road and plow over rocky terrain with ease in my experience. I'm not lifted and don't plan on doing extreme off roading but like you just enjoy getting off the grid on fire, dirt, gravel, and some light rocky terrain and they hold up really well 16,000 miles in

No problems but I personally prefer Goodrich. I've alway ran the All Terrain's but haven't had a 4x4 for a few years now. The last ones I bought for my 02 Ford F-250 lasted a long time. I'm not familiar with the K02's or at least they were not called that last time I bought them. The E rated seem a little heavy for these 3rd gens, but again I'm not tat familiar. My dad tried the Goodyear Wranglers and had nothing but problems but back then they were much different, no Kevlar. The Goodyears that came on my truck seem fine but I want a little more aggressive look and performance. Goodrich after these wear out.

They're great tires. Wheeled with them and they did great; I can't speak on mud though since we didn't have any, either water or dry trails.

I picked up a bolt on my 3rd day driving my new Pro but a quick stop at the dealer fixed that, identified it by 2 PSI missing via TPMS. Ride great on the Freeway. Love me on road so far. Nice and light.

I didn't per say have puncture. I was a low leak coming from a slot in between the rasied tread. I had it patched and was good to go. Decent tire and would buy them again, but I plan to go to a 33, this is America... bigger is better! Right lol.
