Hello all, having a weird issue with my 03 Taco. As I am driving, it sounds like the air flow controls are changing from the "foot" setting, to "head/foot" setting, to "head" setting, to "defrost" setting and so on by themselves. The fan is not even on, but the settings seem to be flip flopping, then will stop on their own and then start again.

Any info would be great and thanks in advance

Hope this helps. I am thinking that if you see this actually cycling when it shouldnt... I will read that protion of the manual and see if I can save you some time/steps and get back to you.

Unfortunatly the FSM does not give a "this happens when you do that" breakdown of the climate control system. As I think about it it seems that if the control for defrost to foot heat checks out ok then the only other thing would be the amplifier. This might be one of those times where everything else checks out and you just have to put a part in it to test the system.

Thank you so much. Unfortunately I will not be able to work on my truck for the next couple because of family I have visiting. You gave me a couple great attachments that will get me started. Really appreciate the info.
