Yeah not too much for speed here in Oklahoma, a lot of trails and off camber obstacles.

If you are a rock crawler I would do this mod and call it a day. As for me I have to do this mod, a strut tower crossmember (partial engine cage) and a battery relocate to stop my radiator support from imploding on itself. And I'm only 1/3 of the way into stopping this issue.

Damn dude! replace them anyways. You don't want any slop on the front end, especially since you wheel.

Yeah I don't trust the shop I brought it too a all. The wife put me on a short leash after buying some Dirt King LCAs....lol. So it might have to wait a month or so before I can order anything else.

Thank you for posting this info in a single thread, @12TRDTacoma. Really good information and the pictures you posted of the damage caused by the inferior bushings is rather astonishing.

No problem man. That's what I'm here for! I think it's funny how this thread took 4+ months to gain any traction whatsoever.

I advise everyone who offroads even just a little bit to get them my radiator core support was cracking when I first started wheeling, very slowly at that, when I was more about flexing the truck out and now that I have stepped up to high speed wheeling the problem has amplified. Had I had these from the beginning it wouldnt had been such an issue.

Anywhere from $20-25 for the radiator support bushings. 10 bucks additional $30-35 shipped. Small price to pay to keep your front end held together and some piece of mind.

Definitely do it. You will not feel a difference but your body will thank you for it from all the decreased movement as you have fun on the dirt.

You can stop-drill those cracks to help keep them from spreading.

Welcome to the club. Just noticed that you installed these. I did mine around February as well. The rear cab bolts were quite rusted from my off-road days. Added grease to those. Pictures are in my build thread as well.

For anyone thinking that these make you "feel everything in the road", that is far from the truth. I expected to notice a difference in how the truck felt, as far as engine vibration and what not. I did not. I do have a little less body roll now though, and that was needed.

Thats not true. The cracks hit a hole and they just kept on going right past it.

You used to offroad your X runner?!
