Here to give an update. Finally completed the mod yesterday, I really enjoy it. The cab feels more "solid" per se. The old bushings in the rear ended up coming out super cracked, almost torn. The fronts were mostly intact, the rears were very pronounced in their tearing, which tells me that for some reason there is either more cab weight, or flex back there.

Here are pics. The rears are the ones with the rusty center sleeves.

Additionally, I have to say that Energy suspension's QA sucks. They sent me smaller center hole diameter washers than the size of my bolts. That or they don't suck and there is a variation in cab bolt sizes amongst the 2nd gens. Jeff @VolcomTacoma says he had 3/8" bolts and his fit just fine. Mine were 1/2" bolts. He had to drill my washers out some so they would fit. Just something you guys should be aware of.

Oh ok ok. Thanks again for the help man. That ended up being much simpler then instructions given. Lol of course my cab floor ripping off from the spot welds pissed me off and it's pissing me off right now as I think of it, but oh well.

Now I'm just lazy. I'm going to go look for self tappers, then I'll do the epoxy afterwards. Then again it may be better to do the epoxy first so I lift up the lip at the metal huh?

I told you lol, put the epoxy on it and then use the self tappers, the epoxy will dry and then seal the shit out of it

Yeah Luckily I had a 1/2" drill bit and was able to drill them out. I had no issue with mine that morning, so its weird.

Finally, solid proof that @12TRDTacoma 's frame is bent. Nobody wants to believe me.

I just completed all the mounts last night. Jacking the cab up that much was a rather uncomfortable experience. I disconnected the ABS wires, fender aprons and the brake line bracket by each shock tower because I noticed at enough height to get the cab bushing out, I was stretching the fender aprons a bit. Shit my pants a little... Anyways the rad mounts were easy with the grille removed (aside from the driverside going in slightly crooked), while the cab ones just suck because my mounting plate bolts were nearly rusted solid. 1/8th wrench turn at a time and 6 hours later though haha. 40ft/lbs seemed like a good torque value because I know my old 4runner was 30ft/lbs.

Both my rad mounts were blown and popping over bumps, but this seems to have cured that. Woo:yay:

installed the body pucks today.....took a lil over 2 hours. After reading some of the comments on here about the radiator mounts and measurements vs oem, i decided to flip my 9.4101G kit fat puck on top instead of the small one. -----> this made the front gain a 1/4 of an inch or so in lift. It was a bit nerve biting to hear the front and body mounts creak and moan.

Ehh no biggie. The front stock mounts simply creak and moan because they are dry. A quick blast of silicone spray or pb blaster on them will make the sounds go right away. Regardless, I am glad to hear you changed them out.

Good god in heaven this was a miserable experience. Rust city under there...but 6 hours later along with some language that sent the neighborhood kids inside for the day, and I finally got the rad and body mounts installed. Test drive to retrieve 11pm dinner didn't reveal any install issues so far. And it appears to have corrected my crooked leaning bed issue.

The reason this happened to you is you bought your kit a long time ago, and there was a fitment issue back then, so old stock. It's been corrected.

Makes sense. Just a minor nuiscance, but it was annoying nevertheless.
