If you pushed them forward enough no more cutting at all. You have to cut the top of the wheel wells though due to the up travel.

    And yes regear again haha

Unless you wheel a lot. Just do 33s. 35s double or even triple the cost. Regearing is pricey and a pain and you have to tub.

    This.

You'll want to keep the comforts once the kids start coming and you won't be doing as many "hardcore" trails anyways.

All this and a bag of chips.

I've been wanting to do more camping and such but with work and health issues, I'm lucky if I get a day trip here and there. I kept thinking about the supercharger and kept putting the thought aside because I figured simpler was better if I'm out in the middle of nowhere. Somewhere in there, I realized all the camping trips I had grand ideas of weren't happening so I said to hell with it and decided to have some fun.

You know how damn capable and durable these trucks are. I think it really comes down to what activities do you want to do with it in the long run?

Thanks. I'm currently think about starting with 33s and maybe go to 35s in the future. I don't think regearing is 100% necessary with 33s but with 35s, I do know that it's pretty much a must...

Yea not needed at all with 33s. Helps. But isn't nede. Required pretty much for 35s

Good to know... I guess it wouldn't hurt to go to 4.56s or 4.88s if I were to do some harder trails with my truck. 4.10s will hold over just nicely for the time being...

Nothing wrong with that. If you want to build it to crawl, it will be sweet but I'd hate for you to get to a point down the road where you have to sell it because it doesn't work for the family. I'm just speaking from my experience, and not trying to sway you one way or the other. Its already one of the most killer trucks on here and will only get better no matter what you do with it.

I think the issue here Paul is that you had kids...If you didn't have them you could have a really nice Second Gen like us! ;)

Thanks Dudes! Family is number 1 in my book. Have some things to think about before committing to a full on flat bed. Daughter is 2 and my son is 7 months. Time flies and I don't want to regret a decision...

Oh yeah, don't mind my 2nd gen buddies! They are just trying to rattle some cages! Every time we have a mod day they tell me to get my old POS out of the driveway! Good dudes.
