Gotcha. Do you think that is something I would have to purchase on the internets?

    What Jason said.

You should be able to get offset misalignment spacers (one wider, one narrower, instead of both the same width) that would move the rod end away from the CV. Maybe check Kartek, but if you google misalignment spacers you should get plenty of vendor hits.

Just swap the mis alignments you have now. Or just rotate the bottom mount(not that easy but doable). You want the longer one towards the axle.

I had similar situation. Rotated the spring and it seemed to fix the issue.

Took my coil over out to try to space the spring further from the axle. I also wanted to look at the travel of the CV. It made for some cool photos.

    Welp...

Just put the truck in 4wd no lockers, went to the end of my street. Turned about half way to the left to go in a circle. And the new CV popped out... I was only idling. Same side(passenger). can anyone think what is wrong? Something with the differential? Ideas?

Like just came out of the diff? Or broke.

Also you should be driving in 4wd on asphalt...for the exact reason you can damage stuff.

No, the shaft popped out of the inner joint. The joint is still in the diff.

So the tulip just pulled out of the CV? 4wd or not, I still would think that shouldn't have happened. Almost like the cv is too short or the clamp on the boot wasn't on tight enough. The tulip does have a little in/out flex.
