CBI makes quality work. I believe they have the bushwacker series bumpers that have the option of jerry can holders. If not you can call Nathan at cbi and I'm sure they can work with you. I have a friend that has one on his second gen. That's who I would go with if Adam didn't make mine. Last that I heard was Adam is not interested in making any bumpers but who knows. Send him a message. Really cool dude to deal with.

You guys should come wheeling with us when we go down to Uwharrie. Shit was pretty fun. We also do a few trips here in VA if you guys want to drive up. Yes it is the new 2014 Rock Hopper! Good eye.

Thanks Adam. I'm glad you chimed in because I do have a question for you. By adding the 4crawler 1"body lift did you experience serious rubbing when you slapped on your Land Cruiser's 35's? I'm trying to prepare for this because I want to throw some on sometime next year. I'm wondering if I still would need to tube and chop to fit them.

Thanks Ryan. All the advice helps when wondering about a bumper. If I go with one I'm seriously thinking CBI now. So do u have a swing out or just a plate bumper on the back? Now since I've been wheelin I would like to get the spare off the top an om the back now.

I don't mean to thread jack or anything but I may be able to add some advise as well as I have recently tubbed and cut for 35's. I would personally for sure tub...but you might be able to get away with not cutting the fenders with the 1" body lift. I took 3" out of the firewall and tubbed it all back as one peice and in certain instances, I can get it to rub at full compression and wheels turned to full lock. As for the clearance on the fenders...if I remember correctly I removed 1 3/4" from the front and 1" from the rear. After doing so I don't rub at all the fenders. The odd time in the rear right close to the rocker panel but that's it.

If you'd like...pm me and we could possibly work something out in the spring where I could send the templates I made in the mail. (Their cardboard)

Btw your truck is one nice machine! By far one of the cleanest I've seen yet

    Cheers!!

Thank you for the information! Awesome that you chimed in. I am a while away from doing this but want to make sure I have all the information before I start the project. I would love the templates later on down the road. Thanks again.

With the 35's I had briefly on my truck they worked fine on the road with the 1" BL. I didn't rub at all in normal driving conditions. The wheel offset can play a big part of this. The wheels I run with my 33's have a bigger offset than the 80 series cruiser wheels with the 35's so the turning arc of the tires was slightly smaller with the 35's and probably reduced rubbing.

Wheeling the truck with the 35's would have been a totally different story and I am certain there would have been LOTS of rubbing. Tubbing the firewall is almost certain to be a requirement if you plan on doing anything offroad in the truck with ~3" of suspension lift and a 1" BL. You could do a larger BL but I woudn't recommend that.

I can't speak to the need to trim the fenders but that seems like it maybe necessary as well.

Also, if you haven't done it yet relocating the washer fluid reservior would be a good idea. You'll make contact there with 35's.

I'll keep you post on the next trip.

A member on here is sending me a brand new ARB CKMA-12. Going to upgrade my compressor. Thinking about getting rid of my CO2 setup.
