I like the type bs. What I like even better is that the 35'sx12.50 are $80 cheaper per tire!

Does anybody know why that is? Maybe 16 inch rims are more popular then 15?

18" BBS, not economical at all, the price of street tires are the same as 16" All Terrains.

Scratch the 15 idea. I just ordered another fj rim to replace the one I jacked up at Potts. At least I have a nice spare.

15s are load range C and 16s are load range E.

While yes, more tire is used for a 15'' rim, on a 16+ rims the side walls get smaller so you have to make them stronger to hold the weight more. Thus more pricey.

from an offroading stand point, 15s mean more tire between the ground and your rim so you don't risk damaging them as much when running low pressure.

    lol never mind then!

Thanks for the info monte! Yeah by the time I bought new rims and all its around the same price I I'm going to spend on the 315s. Here's a question for you. Km2s or mtrs?

I have no complaints with my KM2s..at all. But more and more people are moving to the MTRs..myself included. But im only getting them cause my 35x12.5s are used and got them for an insane price. People seem to really like them.

Only think i know for sure im not looking forward to with the MTRs is the super stiff side walls they have compared to the KM2s. I also think i have read they don't seem to last quite as long as KM2s..but thats never been a deal breaker for me. and of course they are a non symetrical tire so..that could be a bit annoying for the OCD people :p haha THe MTRs also are supposed to to better on the snow and ice then the KM2s.

Either way. I don't think you can go wrong with either..i have had a bad history with Goodyear so normally id take a BFG any day over them personally, but im gonna give these guys a shot.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
I think so. Its my son's bd but we are celebrating it on the 15th. Even so, wife isn't happy.... I would like to camp out (drive up Friday) but need to find a tent/hammock, etc... I think I can scrounge something up.
