I think I have it down now. Sit my ass down, support tires by my legs. Lift with arms like your doing a curl.

    Thanks!

Got them all lined up. Used this hi tech tool. Toilet paper roll cut to 1 3/4" ( matched the cut on the elite bumper) pencil on one end to match the arch of the fender. Marker on the other end. Might have to redo it and put some painters tape first.

Thanks Tanner for showing the easy way to make a patch. Now fitting it to all the curves in the wheel well, that's a different story. We are going to weld and bang that shits with a hammer to bend and form to the hole! Welding day is tomorrow. I also had enough time to trim driver side fender. Fitting the flares is going to take some thought. Either move the flares higher on the fender by make more square holes or just run it without. For now I'm going to run it without until I have enough time to cut and fit the flares. Another option would be to go with some glassworks up front. I'll have to decide once the truck is back together.

Looks awesome Paul! I agree with you about the flares! I don't think people are realizing how much work it actually is to fit the flares back on after. How it's going to sit higher on the body, and how much flare will have to get cut at the rear of it. I think it would look kinda goofy IMO haha. Nice clean arch of the fender then wabamm!!! 90% of the flare is cut haha. It can be done, but with a ton of work haha. The flare less look is growing on me as well. Just something about that stance :)

Good luck with the welding! I can't wait to see it done

we don't have to worry about those (not so) convenient fender flare holes that Toyota just so graciously engineered for the 01-04 models

Should. Finishing up passenger now. Driver side still needs to be welded and trim rear fender. Finished trimming almost three fenders. Should be good.

    i see youre doing 35s. nice :D

when you trimmed the fenders did you just fold back the tabs or did you actually cut them off?

i will be waiting for pics on how you went about welding and fitting the sheet metal. I hope the pictures are somewhat clear and not BGR style haha.
