Paul when u ordered ur LED lights for ur front bumper which ones did u go with and r they good? I've been looking at the d2's but their real pricey. Don't do a lot of night wheeling anyway. But trying to save up some $$$ to get some to put on the front bumper and at the windsheild too. Thanks man appreciate it.

Edit: truck looks insanely sweet man. I'm wanting to put my hi lift how u got urs at an angle on the swingout.

    Nathan,

    This is what I ordered.

    http://jasperoffroad.com/index.php/led-lighting/small-led-pods/3-square-led-light.html

I couldn't justify spending that much on D2. I wanted the money to go elsewhere like air lockers, gears, and stuff like that. I don't go night wheeling at all but I am thinking of getting a dual light bar because I'm welding some light hoops and protection in the front.

As far as having my Hi lift angled I am currently thinking of a way to adjust it differently. If that means I have to cut the current mount and either mount it on the bed rack sides or underneath the bed rack then that's what I'll do. Just too many times that the handle has hit a tree branch. It makes a crazy banging sound!

If I wheeled more out west then I would love the current location. Wheeling out here in the east...trees are everywhere! Food for thought

Thanks for the link man. I'm like hi can't se me paying that much for D2"s when these do the same thing and r cheaper. Their r so much other things I want to do to truck but have to save up a little or wait till tax time. Haha

I was thinking about putting the hi lift at an angle but if I do it so close that it will scratch the paint off the tailgate. And I definitely don't want that. Haha. Right now it was where my other hi lift was at on the side of the basket on the racks. It may just stay their don't know yet. The next mod I got to do is reinforce the front bumper to put the winch on.

Paul Wall, I need your input buddy.... Getting ready to order new leafs, I'm trying to make the typical decision between Allpro Expo packs like you have, or Dakars.

My concern is what the back end will ride like when it's not loaded down. I won't be running a bed rack like you, and who knows when I'll finally get around to doing my rear bumper. So I can't make a decision.

For a 2nd gen, if you're not going to be carrying a constant load go with the Dakars.

Expos handle all the weight when I'm fully packed up. Don't really have anything negative to say about them. If you are not planning to get a rear bumper anytime soon or run 400lbs in the rear I probably would chose the dakars for now.

If you did purchase the dakars and then at a later point decided to go with a rear bumper or more weight you could always run the dakar aal to gain some of the height back..

    Hope that helped

Yeah, it did a little.... Im just wondering how stiff and bouncy the expos are unloaded. Tough decision, I'm trying to make a smart choice and not make an impulse purchase. If the expos will be an acceptable ride the way I sit now, I might just go with them, I need to find out more about the Dakars though before I decide.

Not a bad idea, should give me a close enough guesstimate, you'd be running what, an additional 100lbs or so more than what I would be with your bumper and all ?

I'm gonna call Allpro tomorrow too, just to see what they might suggest.
