Between you and PCBuilder I am going to have to look at adding those hoops to my Elite bumper. Did you both get them from Eric?

For future reference, can you talk about crawlbox vs duals? I haven't gotten that far yet so I haven't done any research on them yet but I keep hearing about them

I thought a crawlbox was one part of a dual case setup, the other case being the stock transfer case?

This is correct. Running duals one case is the crawl box with the low gear ratio s. Second case is your stock case. In my crawl box I will have the 4.7:1 gear set.

Oh ok. I always thought dual cases was just two stock cases mated

Not always, just different terms for it. Some call it a doubler, reduction box, etc.

I'm curious to see how the install goes. Now that TomTom mention the lefty case my mind has been running through ideas of which I would like better; the duals or lefty case with 4.7s.

But with the lefty case you could always run standard duals down the line by just getting an extra case and the std gear driven case adapter since you already have to run a v6 adapter for the lefty.

HOnestly, if your an auto..i think just a left 4.7 case would be fine.

but for a manual. Duals for sure.

Yeah I'm manual. My buddy's Adam's truck flat out crawls but with an auto, 4.7s, and 4.88s it should. Even stock I want more gearing, not looking forward to it on 33s.

I'm figuring the Lefty first then see if I want to add a crawl box. 4.7 on top of 4.7. Whoa.
